It is traditional for the bride to be to give her future husband a little token of her affection the night before the wedding. Cufflinks or a watch perhaps – not very original is it? Bridal boudoir offers something a little different and a lot more personal. And what could be more personal than a book, or super discrete folio frame, full of fabulous images of his future wife?
Many brides choose to wear their wedding day underwear, veil, shoes and jewellery in their shoot – always their engagement ring.
Also something belonging to the groom is popular, shirt, football scarf or maybe a flag or even a high-vis jacket! Of course every bride needs a veil – don’t worry I have a few you can borrow if you are not wearing one on the big day.
Its an afternoon dedicated to YOU time. You have your hair and make up done – some of my brides use this as their ‘trial run for hair and makeup’ – get to try on all your new stuff, and usually buy some extra bits too. You can bring a friend and make a day of it. A bit of shopping, a make over and photo-shoot, then why not go out for a meal in town as you will be looking and feeling fabulous, seems a shame not too doesn’t it?. And in a few weeks time, after I have done the edits and you have chosen your images, you will have a great present to give the future Mr to your Mrs.
Bridal Boudoir – what’s not to love?
